Ventana Mountain Bikes USA has been offering powder coated frames since our inception in 1988. We believe in using an environmentally friendly alternative to toxic wet paints and anodizing. With EPA regulations growing ever stricter, powder coating is fast becoming the technology of choice. Since the powder coating process does not use solvents in any way, VOC emission problems are eliminated.
Powder coating is just that, powder. It is non toxic, can be used on food service equipment and, in its powder form, is no more harmful to the environment than dust. When it is cured it becomes a tough and weather resistant coating for our frames and is available in a whole myriad of fabulous colors making powder coating the choice for preserving your precious ride while protecting the environment. We knew that 20 plus years ago and are proud supporters of the green planet initiative.
