Warranty
Ventana frames are classified into two categories based on their intended use, XC and Black Diamond, and each category carries a different warranty period. XC frames include X-5, El Saltamontes, El Fuego, El Conquistador, El Chiquillo, El Toro, El Martillo, El Martillo CX. Black Diamond frames include El Cuervo, El Chamuco, and La Bruja.
For the period of up to one year from the date of original consumer purchase, Ventana Mountain Bikes, USA, will repair or replace, at its option, any frame suspension pivot, pivot bushing and frame finish (i.e. Powder coating) which is determined to be defective in materials and/or workmanship.
For the period of up to two years for XC frames, and for up to one year for Black Diamond frames, from the date of original consumer purchase, Ventana Mountain Bikes, USA, will repair or replace any frame component which is determined to be defective in materials and/or workmanship. Frame components include: full suspension main frame, swingarm and compression strut, or rigid main frame. Normal wear and tear and/or consumer neglect and abuse are not covered under this warranty policy.
Ventana further extends to the original purchaser a limited lifetime frame replacement policy whereby, for a fraction of retail price, the original purchaser may get a replacement frame in the event of a crash or frame failure. Replacement cost, model and color options are subject to the discretion of Ventana Mountain Bikes, USA.
This Warranty is not transferable.
