"The Commander"
Our 29er singlespeed, El Comandante, features our legendary Ventana lateral stiffness, adjustable dropouts and geometry perfected for hammering the single track. Smooth rolling in the rough, and unbelievable traction are the two main attributes of 29” wheels, and El Comandante exploits them to the fullest with our new tapered head tube and pressFit 30 bottom bracket.

- Tapered head tube (1-1/8” to 1.5”) uses external mixed headset (34mm upper x 44mm lower)
- 27.2mm seat post diameter
- PressFit 30 BB shell accommodates both BB30 & standard (external bearing) threaded BBs
- Compatible with Gates belt drive system
- Cable guides for rear brake only
- Unique three-bolt sliding adjustable singlespeed dropouts
- New chainstay yoke provides ample clearance for large volume tires in shortest chainstay position
- 100mm fork compatibility
- Stock colors: Super Dust & Jailhouse Blue
- Upgrades
- 142x12mm thru-axle dropouts with 5-star AR nut (for use with Shimano axle bolt)
- Levels 1, 2 and custom color options
- Three levels of geometry customization

El Comandante SS Notes
- Dimension measured with dropouts set at nominal center position
- Chainstay range is 17.33" to 18.4" for sliding dropouts with limited tire clearance in forward most position
- Standover measured vertically from ground to top of top tube, 3" in front of crank center
- Uses Inset 44x56mm headset for 1-1/8 x 1.5" forks
